Total Agency Expenditures

Overview

The Total Agency Expenditures table is read only. Data reported in the SNAP-Ed Financial Reporting module are automatically pulled into the Total Agency Expenditures section to calculate your agency’s total expenditures for the year.

For implementing agency (IA) reports, the SNAP-Ed Expenditures Total section reflects expenditure data entered for that IA.
For State agency (SA) reports, the SNAP-Ed Expenditures Total section reflects expenditure data entered for the SA only.
The “Final Review” for the State agency and Regional Office includes a “State Expenditure Summary” section, showing IA expenditures and a summary of expenditures for the State as a whole.

Example

Total Agency Expenditures

1. Direct Costs

The “Direct Cost” line item is the sum of all reported direct costs.
Each direct cost line item is the sum of expenditures reported in the SNAP-Ed Project Expenditures section and the Other SNAP-Ed Expenditures section of your agency’s report.

2. Indirect Costs

  • The “Indirect Cost Explanation” added in your agency’s corresponding plan is shown.
  • The “Indirect Costs” line item is the “Total Indirect Costs” number reported in the Indirect Costs section of your agency’s report.

3. Total Agency Expenditures

The “Total Agency Expenditures” line item is the sum of Line 1. Direct Cost and Line 2. Indirect Costs

4. Carry-over Expenditures from Previous FY

The “Carry-over Expenditures from the Previous FY” line item is the “carry-over from the previous Federal fiscal year” number reported in the Carry-over Expenditures section of your agency’s report.

5. TOTAL Agency Expenditures from Reporting Year Allocation

The “TOTAL Agency Expenditures from Reporting Year Allocation” line item is the difference of Line 3. Total Agency Expenditures and Line 4. Carry-over Expenditures from Previous FY
