Annual Report Features In Development

The following features will not be available for the User Experience Feedback (UEF) program and Community Preview (CP), but will be available for the official annual report launch in N-PEARS later this fall. More details will be provided at that time.

Data Import Capabilities

The annual report will allow agencies to import data from other sources, such as the PEARS reporting system.
  • This feature is designed to save time in sections where data entry is burdensome.
  • For agencies using PEARS, we’ve created documentation to detail out what data points from PEARS will map to data points in N-PEARS.
  • This feature will be available for State agency reports and implementing agency reports.

Support 2023 Goals and Objectives

The annual report will allow State agencies to select, add, or edit Goals and Objectives for the FY23 Report.
  • This feature is designed to support States that have a different set of Goals and Objectives for FY23 vs. FY24.
  • This feature will be available for State agency reports only, and the Goals/Objectives selected will appear in Implementing agency reports.
  • This feature will be available for FY23 reports only.

Support 2023 Projects and Evaluations

The annual report will allow agencies to add or remove projects and evaluations for the FY23 Report.
  • This feature is designed to support agencies that have a different set of projects and evaluations for FY23 vs. FY24.
  • For the FY23 report, agencies will be able to add and remove planned projects and evaluations, as needed.
(In future years, agencies will be able to add unplanned projects/evaluations or mark planned projects/evaluations as unimplemented, but will not be able to add or remove planned projects/evaluations.)
  • This feature will be available for State agency reports and implementing agency reports.
  • This feature will be available for FY23 reports only.

Support 2023 Implementing Agency Setup

The annual report will allow State agencies to select a list of implementing agencies that are expected to submit a FY23 report.

  • This feature will be similar to the State Plan Setup section that State agencies completed as part of the FY24 State plan.
  • Implementing Agency (IA) will not be able to start FY23 reports until the State agency completes IA setup.
  • This feature will be available for State agency reports only.
