This update is live in N-PEARS as of June 6, 2023. This update affects the Planned Staffing section in the Planned Staffing and Budget module in State plans and implementing agency plans. A screenshot from the system is provided below to illustrate the changes.
Planned Staffing FTE Update
Previously, only 0-1 FTE could be reported in plan budgets. Now, multiple FTEs can be reported in the “Full-Time Equivalents Charged to SNAP-Ed” field. Each row is now designed to represent all staff members with the respective position title, and the salary reported should represent the average salary for that position.
The Budget Import and the Planned Staffing tab in the Final Review are also updated to reflect this change.
For any states that have already added Planned Staffing data, your existing data remains intact. This update only affects new data entered into the system, and you can adjust existing data on your end as needed.
