Within the State Plan in National PEARS, agencies can set up to seven SMART goals, each with multiple objectives. To make these objectives easier to track in the system, we’ve added objective numbering to help clearly identify each one.
Each objective is now labeled using the format Goal#.Objective#—as shown below, Objective 1.1 corresponds to the first objective under Goal 1.
